Dance Recital

Dance Recital Information TBD

Our dancers will showcase their talent at our annual recital. Your dancer will be in only one show based on which class they attend. Your child will be in a Ballet or Tap routine (However, your child will still be learning all genres through the rest of the year in dance class). You will be notified by email which genre of dance your child is in. You can also check below in March for the rehearsal schedule and genre of dance. We look forward to seeing all of our stars on stage!

You have TWO important times of the day to keep track of; Rehearsal time and Recital Time!

Dress Rehearsal

Dress rehearsal will take place the same day in the morning/early afternoon before the show, please arrive in costume. Rehearsal consists of stage time and professional photography of individuals and group shots. Dancers are required to arrive to rehearsal in full costume. Please arrive 15 minutes prior to rehearsal time for dancer check in, and rehearsal should last around one hour. The class specific dress rehearsal & show schedule will be sent out in March.

Recital Fee & Costume

If you would like your dancer to participate in the recital, there is a recital fee. The fee is split into two payments for your convenience- $80 due on December 1 and on March 1. The recital is not required, so if you do not plan on having your child attend please inform us by February 1st.

The recital fee includes a memorable year digital program, an award for your dancer, a costume, and a digital video of the full show. It also pays for our facility rental, all of the light and sound crew as well as all of the workers backstage etc. Costumes will be distributed at your child’s preschool late April/early May based on measurements taken by our dance instructors during class. Before costumes are delivered accounts are to have a zero balance. Concerns with costume must be expressed within one week of being delivered as we do not have extra costumes and must contact the costume company to resolve.

Tickets

Tickets go on sale a month prior to the recital. Our shows will be assigned seat ticketing, so you will need to reserve tickets for everyone in your party at one time. Ticket sales open one month prior to the recital. We will send a detailed update and instructions on how to purchase your tickets during April. Smaller children are welcome to sit on laps, but if they require an additional seat you will need to purchase a separate ticket. Any left over seats will be available to purchase the week of the recital. We cannot guarantee seats will be available at the door.

Additional information on the professional photographer, videography, t-shirts, hair/makeup/costumes, and flowers are sent out in the March recital email.
